Uracoa is a Venezuelan village in the state of Monagas . It is the administrative seat of the Municipios Uracoa. Uracoa was founded in 1784 by the monk José de Manzanera.

economy

Livestock is the most important economic factor in the region. Corn, sorghum and watermelons are also grown in small farms, even if the fields are more for the local population.
