Uranium actinium series

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The uranium - actinium series is the natural decay series of the uranium isotope 235 or (4n + 3) series.

It can be extended “backwards” to the artificial transuranium elements : the mother nuclide of uranium-235 is plutonium-239 , which is produced in large quantities in nuclear reactors . This can in turn have arisen from other mother nuclides , which are not shown here (first extension in red ).
The end nuclide of the series is the lead isotope 207 Pb.
