Ureki ( Georgian ურეკი ) is a small urban-type settlement in the Georgian region of Guria in Osurgeti municipality . It is located on the Black Sea coast and is a popular seaside resort. Ureki is bounded in the north by the Sepa River, in the south by Supsa and in the west by the mountain Zwermagala ( Georgian წვერმაღალა ). The resort is known for its dark-colored sand on the beach, which contains high amounts of magnetite and is excellent with medicinal properties.
