Life

Twellmann began his artistic training at the School of Design in Bern. He then went to New York, where he studied at the Art Students League and completed his training at the Manhattan Graphic Center .

Wood in all forms of appearance form the starting point for his objects, installations and interventions.

The intensive examination of the material, the patient exploration of its properties and possibilities as well as the exploration of the tension between chaos and order are at the center of the creative process.

In addition to small sculptures and outdoor sculptures, lavish installations are created around the world in which the artist integrates landscapes and seasons into the creative process.
