Urs Augstburger
Urs Augstburger (born January 18, 1965 in Brugg ) is a Swiss writer and journalist .
Life and work
Urs Augstburger grew up in Brugg and attended the Ringier journalism school . He then worked, among other things, as a cultural journalist and as an editor for Schweizer Sonntagsblick and the Swiss radio and television broadcaster SRF . He started writing in 1990. His first novel Forever Is Tomorrow was published in 1997, followed by his literary breakthrough with Schattwand in 2001. In addition to his journalistic and writing work, he also contributed to the realization of several award-winning documentaries.
