Urs Furrer
Urs Furrer (born September 18, 1934 in Sumatra , Indonesia , † August 30, 1975 in Detroit , Michigan ) was an American cameraman .
Life
Urs Furrer was born to Swiss parents on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Even before he immigrated to the USA in the 1950s , he was engaged in photography. He was able to establish himself as a cameraman for industrial and documentary films. With the two action films Shaft and Shaft - Greetings from pistols , he made his two most famous movies.
