Ursula von Dorbenck

Ursula von Dobenck was abbess of the Hof monastery from 1519/20 to 1535 .

Ursula von Dobenck came from the noble family of Dobenck . Johann Christoph Weiß , Georg Wilhelm Kirsch and Dietlein / Jäger dealt with the chronology of their work as abbess. The genealogist Johann Gottfried Biedermann classifies Ursula as the daughter of Kunemund von Dobenck , who in 1465 participated in the Aufseß feud with the Würzburg bishop Johann III. von Grumbach was involved and must have later reconciled. According to Biedermann, Ursula had a brother Wilhelm, who was margrave councilor and bailiff at court . Ursula added the land register of her two predecessors about the ownership of the monastery.
