The Ustvedthorten ( Norwegian ) is a nunatak in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises at the northwest end of Sivorgfjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1967. It is named after Hans Jacob Neumann Ustvedt (1903–1982), a leader of the resistance movement against the German occupation of Norway in World War II and general director of Norwegian Broadcasting from 1962 to 1972.
