Uta Titze engraver
Uta Titze-Stecher , b. Weber (born December 28, 1942 in Posen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).
Titze-Stecher first attended elementary school in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt , where she graduated from high school for boys in 1962 . From 1962 to 1968 she studied pedagogy, psychology, Romance studies and German studies in Munich . From 1968 to 1977 she was a teacher before she studied special education from 1977 to 1979 back in Munich. After that, she worked until 1990 as a special education teacher for people with educational difficulties and learning disabilities in Munich and as a training teacher for students.
In 1971 Titze-Stecher joined the SPD, where she was spokeswoman for the Young Socialists from 1975 to 1979 and then from 1979 to 1983 deputy subdistrict chairwoman of the Amper-Lech subdistrict. From 1992 to 1994 she was a member of the Upper Bavarian District Board, and from 1992 to 1996 a member of the State Board of the SPD Bavaria. She was also a local councilor from 1978 to 1990. She was a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2002.
