Uta Windisch
Uta Windisch (born January 20, 1949 in Niederwürschnitz ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Saxon state parliament from 1994 to 2014 .
education and profession
From 1965 to 1968 Uta Windisch trained as an electrical mechanic with a high school diploma. From 1969 to 1973 she studied information processing at the Dresden University of Engineering and was qualified as an external student in 1975. From 1973 to 1991 she worked as a systems analyst in the organization / IT department of the company Fahrzeugelektrik Thalheim and Kofferfabrik Thalheim. From 1991 to 1994 she worked for a member of the state parliament.
Uta Windisch is an Evangelical Lutheran, married and has three children.
politics
Uta Windisch was non-party until the fall of the Berlin Wall . She came into politics in 1989 through the citizens' movement and has been a member of the CDU since May 1990. From 1995 to 2007 she was deputy chairwoman of the CDU district association in Stollberg and from 1997 to 2011 a member of the state board of the CDU Saxony .
From 1990 to 1994 Uta Windisch was President of the Stollberg District Council. From October 1994 to 2014 she was a member of the Saxon State Parliament, into which she has always been a direct member of the Stollberg constituency since 1999 . In the state parliament she was a member of the state parliament presidium. She was the deputy chairman and treasurer of her group. Her professional focus in the state parliament was environmental and tourism policy. Since 1996 she has been tourism policy spokeswoman for the CDU parliamentary group. Until September 2009, Windisch was chairman of the Committee on Environment and Agriculture. In the 5th electoral term (since 2009) she was a member of the Committee on Economy, Labor and Transport, the Committee on Environment and Agriculture and the Evaluation Committee.
Windisch decided not to run again in the 2014 state election and withdrew from state politics. Since 2014 she has been a member of the district council of the Erzgebirgskreis.
