The Uchkoschoi ( Kyrgyz Үчкошой ; Russian Уч-Кошой Uch -Koschoi ) is the left source river of the Talas in Kyrgyzstan ( Central Asia ).

The Uchkoschoi rises on the northern flank of the western foothills of the Kyrgyz mountains . It flows in a west-northwest direction. From Taldy Bulak , a trunk road follows the course of the Uchkoschoi. 40 km further downstream at Chatbasar , the Uchkoschoi joins the Karakol flowing in from the northeast to form the Talas. The Uchkoschoi has a length of about 70 km. Its catchment area covers 1210 km². The mean discharge is 9.04 m³ / s.
