Uttoxeter is a city and a management unit in District East Staffordshire in Staffordshire , England. Uttoxeter is about 20 km east of Stafford . In 2001, it had a population of 12,023. Uttoxeter was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086 as a Wotocheshede . The small town is known for its horse racing track, Uttoxeter Racecourse .
Former partnership
The municipality of Raisdorf had a partnership with the city of Uttoxeter until 2003. The partnership was unilaterally ended by Uttoxeter.
