The Utz Spur is an icy rock spur in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range , it looms between the upper reaches of the Comberiate and Potter glaciers .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1994 after Loreen G. Utz (* 1959), cartographer of the United States Geological Survey and member of the satellite survey team at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in the Antarctic winter of 1983.
