UVERworld is a Japanese rock band from Kusatsu (Shiga) and was founded in 2004. UVERworld consists of six members: Takuya (vocals), Katsuya (guitar), Akira (guitar), Nobuto (bass), Shintarō (drums) and Seika (saxophone). The band has released eight albums and 26 singles (as of July 2014).

biography

UVERworld was founded in 2004. With their first single "DtecnoLife" they landed on the 4th place of the "Oricon Top Hits Charts". With their second single "CHANCE!" they also came into the Oricon charts (at number 5). In 2006 they released their third single "Just Melody" and in February 2006 they released their first album "Timeless". Many of the band's songs can be found as openings in animes. "DtecnoLife" is used as the second opening for the Japanese anime Bleach . "Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi" is the opening of Gundam 00 Season 2. And "Core Pride" for the anime Ao no Exorcist . In addition, "Gekidou" is used as the fourth opening for D.Gray-man .
