Uwe Eichelberg

Uwe Eichelberg (born November 22, 1940 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

After graduating from the Herderschule in Rendsburg , Eichelberg completed an economics degree at the University of Hamburg . In 1970 he joined the CDU and was chairman of the Großhansdorf local association from 1980 to 1997 . From 1970 to 1997 he also held various positions at Mobil Oil . In 1996 Eichelberg entered the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein as a directly elected member of the Ahrensburg constituency and in 2000 via the state list. From 1997 to 2000 he was chairman of the economic committee of the state parliament. From 2000 to 2005 he was the economic policy spokesman and member of the board of the CDU parliamentary group. He did not run again for the 2005 state election. On August 13, 2007 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit with ribbon.

Uwe Eichelberg is married and has four children. He is a member of the Corps Thuringia Jena .
