Panos Papadopulos

Panos Papadopulos (born August 1, 1920 in Kerassus , Ottoman Empire (now Giresun , Turkey ), † February 18, 2001 in Munich ) was a German-Greek actor .

Life

Papadopulos appeared in the 1950s at the Hamburg City Theater, from where he was hired by director Jürgen Roland in 1959 for a supporting role as the manipulable seaman Shelby in the Edgar Wallace film The Red Circle . Furthermore, Papadopulos was seen in many spaghetti westerns of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

He played his last major and equally best-known role in 1985 as the sleazy takeaway owner Stavros in Otto - The Film .

Papadopulos died of heart failure in 2001.
