Uwe Nehler

Uwe Nehler (born February 6, 1946 in Ilsenburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1990 to 2002 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

Uwe Nehler studied human medicine after graduating from high school. After studying and doing military service with the NVA , he worked as a specialist in general medicine from 1972. He was head of a country outpatient clinic and an outpatient medical care area.

Uwe Nehler is married and has two children.

politics

Uwe Nehler joined the SDP in December 1989 after the fall of the Berlin Wall and became a member of the state committee "Social Democrats in Health Care" of the SPD Saxony-Anhalt . In the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 and in the state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1994, he was elected to the state parliament via the state list. In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 1998 he was able to win the direct mandate in the state constituency of Burg .
