Uwe Pallaks

Uwe Pallaks (born January 17, 1952 in Halle (Westphalia) ) is a former German football player.

Pallaks played in his youth at SC Halle, SC Verl and Spvg Steinhagen . From the 1976/77 season to 1980/81 he played at SC Herford in the 2nd Bundesliga North . Then he moved to KSV Hessen Kassel in the newly founded single-track 2nd Bundesliga. In 1984 he went to SC Borussia Fulda for a year and then to FSV Bergshausen a year later .

He then went abroad for 18 years to the Dominican Republic to train football teams and run a hotel. After suffering economic shipwreck with the hotel, he returned to Germany in 2004 and rejoined his first club, SC Halle, where he was active as a sports director in the youth football department. At the beginning of 2007 he got involved - also as a sporting director - at SC Herford. The SC Halle then separated from Pallaks in March 2007.

The SC Herford separated from Pallaks in March 2009 after differences between him and the football board. In his career he played 236 games in the 2nd Bundesliga and scored 87 goals.
