The Vännäsmasten is a 323 meter high transmission tower for broadcasting VHF radio and television programs near Vännäs in Sweden . It is one of the tallest structures in Sweden and, like the Gerbrandytoren, consists of a concrete tower, on the top of which stands a steel truss mast that is braced to the ground. It was built to replace a transmitter mast that collapsed in the winter of 1987/88.
