Víctor Manuel Gerena (born June 24, 1958 in New York City , United States ) is a suspected American criminal who has been on the list of the FBI's ten most wanted fugitives since 1984 as the 386th person in chronological order . As of April 11, 2010, he has been the longest on the list. This record was previously held by the alleged police murderer Donald Eugene Webb . A million dollars has been allocated for information leading to his capture.

Law enforcement says Gerena robbed an armored car belonging to a security company in West Hartford , Connecticut on September 12, 1983 . He is said to have handcuffed two employees of the security service at gunpoint and injected them with a substance that did not numb them as intended. It stole $ 7,000,000 from Wells Fargo Bank, the fourth largest bank in the United States. The robbery was believed to have been instigated by Filiberto Ojeda Ríos , the leader of the militant Puerto Rican independence movement, the Boricua People's Army , better known as Los Macheteros .

Since then, Gerena is believed to have been at large and is said to be in Cuba. His exact whereabouts are unknown.
