The Cosa Völkerschlachtdenkmal is a memorial stone in the city of Southern Anhalt in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district in Saxony-Anhalt . The small monument is under monument protection , but it is not clear in the monument register whether the monument with registration number 094 70212 does not mean the same monument as the small monument added in 2017.

As in many villages in Anhalt , the monument erected on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Nations near Leipzig in Cosa follows a certain pattern, in that it is often found in the center of the village (on Cosaer Straße ) and consists of a pile of stones made by is crowned with an upright stone, which serves as an inscription stone ( October 18/1813 - 1913 ). In contrast to this, however, there is an obelisk as a crowning on this inscription stone, which is adorned with the iron cross . The small monument is surrounded by some bushes that are supposed to serve as a fence .
