Monument to the Battle of the Nations (Kanena)
The Völkerschlachtdenkmal von Kanena is a memorial stone in the city of Halle (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt . It is under monument protection and is entered in the monument register with registration number 094 97106 as a small monument.

In the center of Kanena , to the west of the church and the cemetery, at the point where Schkeuditzer Strasse and Zum Planetarium meet, is the Kanena Monument to the Battle of the Nations.
Shape and history
Similar to some monuments to the Battle of the Nations in the Köthener Land (e.g. in Weißandt-Gölzau or Quellendorf ), the small monument in Kanena is a boulder that was erected on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Nations near Leipzig in 1913. The iron cross in the upper area has almost faded . The inscription is also difficult to decipher. It reads: October 18/1813 - 1913 .
