Vũ Duy Từ
Vũ Duy Từ (born June 16, 1934 in Quan Phuong) is a Vietnamese Southeast Asian scientist , especially a Vietnamist .
Life
After completing his doctorate in Bonn as Dr. phil. on May 23, 1962 and his habilitation in 1972 in Hamburg , he was a private lecturer there from 1972 to 1984 for the languages and cultures of Southeast Asia with a special focus on Vietnam and from 1984 to 1999 professor for Vietnamese.
