VLR (radio station)
VLR (for Vejle Lokal Radio ) is a Danish private radio station in Vejle . He belongs to the media group Jyske Medier , which publishes the local newspapers Fredericia Dagblad , Vejle Amts Folkeblad and Horsens Folkeblad . According to the TNS Gallup survey, VLR is the most listened to local radio station in Denmark with 279,000 listeners per week (2nd and 3rd quarter of 2015). The same analysis showed a market share of 5.1 percent in the broadcast area.
The transmission area includes Vejle, Fredericia , Kolding and Horsens, the cities of Herning , Skanderborg and Billund and extends to Svendborg and Aarhus .
VLR broadcasts a music program from current pop and rock titles and popular titles from the 1990s. VLR had around 250,000 listeners per week in 2013, making it the second largest local radio station after Skala FM in Kolding.
A few years ago the station was still called VLR Hit . In June 2011, Radio Horsens was merged with VLR.
