The VR-Bank Rottal-Inn eG is a cooperative financial institution based in Eggenfelden and Pfarrkirchen , Rottal-Inn . history

The foundation stone for the VR-Bank Rottal-Inn was laid in 1897 with the start of banking business in Pfarrkirchen. As early as 1900 the bank had total assets of 75,509.90 Reichsmarks. 50 years later it was renamed Raiffeisenkasse Pfarrkirchen eGmuH and in 1986 it grew to become the third largest cooperative bank in Bavaria with total assets of 302 million DM . The first major merger took place in 1996 with Volksbank Simbach-Pfarrkirchen eG, which resulted in Raiffeisen-Volksbank im Rott- und Inntal eG. After the turn of the millennium, there was a merger with Raiffeisenbank Bad Birnbach-Triftern-Simbach / Inn eG, from which today's VR-Bank Rottal-Inn eG emerged. In 2010 the market support center in Mooshof / Pfarrkirchen was inaugurated and from now on serves the administrative processing of banking transactions. At the meeting of representatives of Rottaler Volksbank-Raiffeisenbank eG and VR-Bank Rottal-Inn eG in June 2016, the merger of the two banks - retrospectively from January 1, 2016 - was decided.
