history

On January 12, 1907, the Volksbank Wilferdingen Gesellschaft mbH was officially registered. The certificate was issued in front of the Durlach notary's office. In the years 1958–1970 the Volksbank opened the branches in Kleinsteinbach (1958), Söllingen (1962), Königsbach (1966) and Nöttingen (1970). On January 1, 1975, the two banking institutions Volksbank Wilferdingen and Spar- und Kreditbank Mittleres Pfinztal merged. On January 1, 1978 the merger with Raiffeisenbank Mutschelbach came into force. Twenty years later, the three cooperative banks Volksbank Wilferdingen, Volksbank Keltern and Raiffeisenbank Dietlingen merged to form today's Volksbank Wilferdingen-Keltern eG. The main bank branch of Volksbank Wilferdingen-Keltern was modernized between 2010 and 2013.

In 2017 the Volksbank Stein Eisingen , the Raiffeisenbank Bauschlott, the VR Bank im Enzkreis and the Volksbank Wilferdingen-Keltern merged to form VR Bank Enz plus eG .
