As a cooperative bank, VR Bank eG Heuberg-Winterlingen eG belongs to the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken finance group and is affiliated with the security scheme of the Federal Association of German Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks eV (BVR). history
The oldest roots of today's VR Bank eG Heuberg-Winterlingen go back to the Nusplingen-Harthöfe loan fund association. The first cooperative was founded in Meßstetten three years later under the name Loan Association Messstetten eGmuH. From the late sixties to the early nineties the cooperatives from Nusplingen , Egesheim , Hartheim , Heinstetten , Hossingen , Oberdigisheim and Unterdigisheim joined the institute. In 2016 the branches in Hossingen, Unterdigisheim and Egesheim were closed due to unprofitability.
At the extraordinary meetings of representatives in November 2018, it was decided to merge Volksbank Heuberg and Winterlinger Bank. The legal and technical merger finally took place on May 7th and 18th, 2019. The name of the new bank is VR Bank eG Heuberg-Winterlingen.
Initial and continuing education
VR Bank eG Heuberg-Winterlingen trains to become a bank clerk. Furthermore, a dual study program at the DHBW for a Bachelor of Arts is possible. Continuous training and education of employees is an essential part of the business strategy of the cooperative bank.
