The Voetbalvereniging Concordia Rotterdam ( German : Football Association Eintracht Rotterdam ) is a former Dutch amateur football club from Rotterdam , which was founded on August 11, 1887 .

history

The club in 1889 won the first unofficial, from NBI discharged, football championship of the Netherlands . The other clubs that took part in the championship were the Koninklijke HFC , HVV Den Haag , VVA Amsterdam , RAP Amsterdam , Olympia Rotterdam and Excelsior Haarlem . In the following two years, the club took part in the championship and was less successful.

In 1891 the club merged with Olympia Rotterdam to form the Rotterdam cricket and football association Concordia, which became the VOC Rotterdam in 1895 . Accordingly, the Voetbalvereniging Concordia no longer exists.
