Valérie Favre Accola

Valérie Favre Accola (born March 26, 1973 in Friborg ) is a Swiss politician ( Swiss People's Party SVP).

Valérie Favre Accola grew up in Davos ( Canton of Graubünden ). She obtained her licentiate degree (lic. Phil) from the University of Friborg , where she worked until 2002, most recently as marketing director, at the international institute for management in telecommunications. Since 2017 she has been head of the education and energy department in the small district administrator (executive) Davos. She has represented the constituency of Davos in the Grand Council (cantonal parliament) since 2018 , where she is also a member of the Commission for Education and Culture. She is also active in the family business Accola Davos GmbH (co-owner), works as managing director for young Graubünden athletes (President UHC Iron Marmots, Paul Accola Young Talent Foundation) and for the art and cultural scene (Davos Festival Association, formerly the Davos International Sculpture Symposium) . She was elected to the board in 2008 as the first woman in the 103-year history of the Davos dairy and has been its vice-president since 2012. She is also Vice President of EW Davos.

The SVP politician was nominated as a candidate for the National Council by the SVP Graubünden on February 26, 2019 .

Valérie Favre Accola is married to Paul Accola and has three children.
