Valentine Hall

Valentine "Vallie" Gill Hall (born November 12, 1867 in New York ; † October 26, 1934 ibid) was an American tennis player.

Hall won the double title at the US Championships in 1888 at the side of Oliver Campbell . After he could not defend his title with Campbell the following year, he won again in 1890, this time at the side of Clarence Hobart . He last stood in the double-finals of the US championships in 1892, that year with his brother Edward Hall .

Hall was an uncle of Eleanor Roosevelt , wife of US President Franklin D. Roosevelt .
