The Valley Forge Freedom were an American ice hockey team from Oaks , Pennsylvania . The team played in the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League in the 2007-08 season .
history
The team was founded in 2007 as a franchise for the first-ever Mid-Atlantic Hockey League . In their only season, the Valley Forge Freedom finished fifth and thus last place in the MAHL after the regular season. The season was ended prematurely due to financial problems by the management of the league and the playoffs were waived. Later attempts to continue the league failed, whereby the Valley Forge Freedom were finally dissolved.
