The Wooster Warriors were an American ice hockey team based in Wooster , Ohio . The team played in the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League in the 2007-08 season .
history
The team was founded in 2007 as a franchise for the first-ever Mid-Atlantic Hockey League . In their only season, the Wooster Warriors finished second in the MAHL after the regular season behind the Indiana Ice Miners . The season was ended prematurely due to financial problems of the management of the league and the playoffs were waived, whereupon the Indiana Ice Miners was declared champions. Later attempts to continue the league failed, whereby the Wooster Warriors were finally dissolved. Previously there were plans to relocate the team to Trenton , Michigan .
