William Harlan Haas (born May 24, 1982 in Charlotte , North Carolina ) is an American professional golfer of the PGA TOUR . He won the FedEx Cup in 2011 .

Career

The son of the well-known golfer Jay Haas became a professional golfer in 2004 after a successful amateur career and initially played on the Nationwide Tour . In autumn 2005 he qualified for the PGA TOUR .

In 2010, Haas achieved his first two victories on the PGA Tour and in September 2011 he also won the FedEx Cup, which is endowed with 10 million US dollars , by winning the Tour Championship .
