history

Today's Valley View University was founded in 1979 in the West African Union Mission of Seventh-Day Adventists (today: Ghana Union Conference) as an Adventist Missionary College in Bekwai in the Ashanti region . In 1983 it was moved to Adetan near Accra and finally in 1989 it was moved to Oybibi , about 25 kilometers outside Accra, and renamed Valley View College.
