Valor plums

Valor is a medium to late ripening plum variety .

The variety was bred from the cross of 'Imperial Epineuse' x 'Grand Duke' in Canada in 1938.

The fruits ripen in early September, are large and oval. The yellow-green pulp is soft and juicy. Resin inclusions can appear in the pulp. The fruits are high in both sugar and acidity. The shell is dark blue to violet blue and has strong to very strong tires. The yield starts early and is regular.

Valor is tolerant of Sharka disease .

The Toptaste variety is a cross between Valor and house plum , and the Topend plus and Haganta varieties are crosses between Čačaks Beste and Valor.
