Valtin Fox

Valtin Fuchs , also Valentin Fuchs , († 1558 in Sangerhausen ) was an Electoral Saxon civil servant. Until his death he was the locksmith of the Sangerhausen office and landowner in Emseloh . As such, in 1544 he acquired land from the Kaltenborn monastery, which was repealed in 1538 . He had received the estate through marriage.

His tomb is in the Evangelical Parish Church of St. Ulrici in Sangerhausen.

His son Valtin Fuchs junior was administrator of the electoral office in Mühlberg in 1564 .
