Emseloh is a district of the city of Allstedt in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

Emseloh is located between Sangerhausen and Eisleben around 11 kilometers north of the city of Allstedt. To the south of the village lies the Blankenheim Forest, and the Röhrgraben flows through Emseloh. To the north of the village are the Schaubesfelde , Utenfelde and Eichenborn deserts .

history

The village was first mentioned on June 22, 1268. On January 1, 2010, the previously independent municipality of Emseloh was incorporated into the city of Allstedt together with the municipalities of Beyernaumburg , Holdenstedt , Katharinenrieth , Liedersdorf , Mittelhausen , Niederröblingen (Helme) , Nienstedt , Pölsfeld , Sotterhausen and Wolferstedt .
