history

In a register of the tithe of the Hersfeld monastery ( Hersfeld's tithe list ), which was created between 881 and 899, (Nieder-) Röblingen is mentioned for the first time together with the other three places with this name as the place of tithe Rebiningi im Friesenfeld .

Another documentary mention was made in 991 as Rebeningen .

The place came to the Allstedt office , which in 1526 was pledged by the Wettins to the Counts of Mansfeld, who in turn left it to the Counts of Stolberg as pledge in 1542 . It was not until 1575 that the Counts of Stolberg lost their claims to the Allstedt office to the Ernestine Wettins.

With effect from October 1, 1945, Niederröblingen, which had previously been in Thuringia, was assigned to the Sangerhausen district of the Province of Saxony .
