Holdenstedt is a district of the city of Allstedt in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany).

Holdenstedt is located between Sangerhausen and Eisleben around 9 km north of Allstedt.
history
In a register of the tithe of the monastery of Hersfeld ( Hersfeld tithe list ), which was created between 881 and 899, Holdenstedt is mentioned for the first time in a document as a place of tenancy, Holdestedi in Friesenfeld .
On November 21, 1998 the association "Feuerwehrhistorik Holdenstedt eV" opened a fire brigade museum in the farmers' row. The fire brigade museum has grown steadily since it opened and is currently being expanded to a former LPG farm. It is one of the largest permanent fire-fighting exhibitions in East Germany.
On January 1, 2010, the previously independent community of Holdenstedt was incorporated into the city of Allstedt together with the communities of Beyernaumburg , Emseloh , Katharinenrieth , Liedersdorf , Mittelhausen , Niederröblingen (Helme) , Nienstedt , Pölsfeld , Sotterhausen and Wolferstedt .

North of the place is the federal road 80 , Sangerhausen to Eisleben . The A 38 autobahn from Halle (Saale) to Göttingen is located south of Holdenstedt.
