The Van Hulssen nunatak is a nunatak in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises at the southern end of the Trillingnutane Nunatakker Group in the Framnes Mountains .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after the Dutchman Frits Adriaan Van Hulssen (1924-2016), a technician at the Mawson station to explore the ionosphere in 1959.
