Van der Goes
Van der Goes is the name of a Dutch patrician and regent family.
The name Van der Goes appeared in the Delft region as early as the 13th century . The chronological series begins with Witte van der Goes and his son Mr. Aert van der Goes (1475–1545), the Dutch lawyer . Their descendants belonged to the Delft patriciate. In the 19th century the family was introduced into the new Dutch nobility. The branches with the title Baron are now extinct. Only branches of the family with the aristocratic title Jonkheer still exist.
