Vanessa Duriès

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vanessa Duriès (actually Katia Lamara , * 1972 , † December 13, 1993 ) was a French writer.

She wrote the novel "Le lien", which is based on her experiences as a submissive slave in the BDSM scene. The novel caused different reactions in France, not least because of the author's youthfulness, ranging from fascination to horror. Vanessa Duriès appeared in the French edition of Penthouse (magazine) and on television (. Eg in the show Bouillon de culture by Bernard Pivot ).

She died in a car accident south of Montélimar on December 13, 1993 at the age of 21, together with the writers Jean-Pierre Imbrohoris , Nathalie Perreau and their son. Due to her early death, she achieved cult status in some BDSM circles in France.

In 2007, a previously unpublished five-chapter fragment of a novel by Vanessa Duriès with the title "L'étudiante" was published in France.
