Vas is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Quero Vas and was an independent municipality in the province of Belluno in Veneto until 2013 .
geography
Vas is located in the valley of the Piave river , about 10 kilometers southeast of the town of Feltre at an altitude of 218 mslm on the orographic left side of the valley.
history
Vas merged with Quero on December 28, 2013 to form the new Quero Vas municipality. The fractions Marziai and Caorera belonged to the former municipality.
