Vasile Urzu
Vasile Ursu (born August 1, 1948 in Ratuș , Rajon Criuleni ) is a Moldovan politician and former mayor of the city of Chișinău .
Vasile Ursu is a trained civil engineer and studied at the Technical University of Moldova in 1975. From 1993 to 1995 he was next to Nicolae Costin and between 2003 and 2005 next to Serafim Urecheanu Vice Mayor of Chișinău. On April 20, 2005, he succeeded him as mayor. On January 25, 2007 Ursu was replaced by Veaceslav Iordan as mayor.
