Vassallaggi is a prehistoric settlement near San Cataldo in the Free Caltanissetta Community Consortium in Sicily . It is very likely that Vassallaggi is identical to the ancient Motyon. Diodorus' notes suggest this.

Vassallaggi is about five kilometers from San Cataldo on the state road 122 in the direction of Serradifalco . The settlement was on five small hills. Most of the old settlement has been excavated. Cave tombs from the Early Bronze Age and chamber tombs that cannot be precisely dated were found. There are also remains of a city from the first half of the 4th century BC. Remains of a wall belt and remains of a sanctuary have been found from this city. In the necropolis of the city were sarcophagi made of alabaster found and ceramics from the 5th century BC. Finds are in the Museum of Gela and in the Archaeological Museum of Agrigento issued.
