The Vazov Point ( Bulgarian Вазов нос Wasow nos ) is a headland on the south coast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms 2.4 km northeast of Samuel Point and 3.3 km west to south of Aytos Point the northeast side of the entrance to Brunow Bay . It is dominated by the Vazov Rock .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2004 after the Bulgarian writer Ivan Wasow (1850-1921).
