Veddinge is a small village on the west coast of the Danish island of Zealand .
The village belongs to the municipality of Odsherred . To the northwest, the coast of the covers Kattegat belonging Sejerø Bay . To the north are the villages of Veddinge Bakker and Veddinge Strand .
The village has fewer than 200 inhabitants and is part of the parish of Fårevejle Sogn . Veddinge was the school location for a long time. From 1970 to 1991 the Observationsskolen i Veddinge also existed here .
In the center of the village there is a memorial stone for the landlord and bailiff Hendrik Larsen (1796–1870), who was state deputy in Roskilde from 1835 to 1840 . The parliamentarian, musician and farmer Jens Rasmussen (1822–1890) also lived in Veddinge .
