Fårevejle Kirke

Fårevejle Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ods Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Dragsholm Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of Odsherred Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 .

On January 1, 2020, 3893 inhabitants lived in the parish, 730 of them in the parish village of Fårevejle Kirkeby , 1816 in the village of Fårevejle Stationsby and 215 in the village of Ordrup Strand . In the parish are the churches "Fårevejle Kirke" and "Dragsholm Kirke".

Neighboring communities are Asnæs Sogn in the east, Hørve Sogn in the south-east and Vallekilde Sogn in the south . The parish borders the Baltic Sea to the west and north .
