Vig Kirke

Vig Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ods Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Trundholm Municipality in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of Odsherred Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

On January 1, 2020, 3197 inhabitants lived in the parish, 1551 of them in the parish of Vig and 224 in the village of Kelstrup . The "Vig Kirke" is located on the territory of the municipality.

Neighboring communities are Højby Sogn in the north, Nørre Asmindrup Sogn in the north-east, Egebjerg Sogn in the east, Grevinge Sogn in the south and Asnæs Sogn in the south-west . In the west the parish borders on the Baltic Sea .
