Hørve Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ods Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Dragsholm Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of Odsherred Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 .

On January 1, 2020 there were 2624 inhabitants in the parish, 2456 of them in the parish village of Hørve .

Neighboring communities are Vallekilde Sogn in the west, Fårevejle Sogn in the north, Kundby Sogn in the area of Holbæk Municipality in the east and Hjembæk-Svinninge Sogn in the south .
